What are you looking at?

”Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.“

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Bible makes some great promises like raised to new life, that sounds awesome, what about…..

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ ”In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.“,

Now that’s something worth striving for. As I began to ponder this truths about the bilbe says are here for us that believe . I began to start holding my daily routine up to these promises and asking myself a question, what is missing? Where am I falling short, what am I missing.

Don’t here me wrong, I am not saying that I expect everything to always great, easy and that you should never experience adversity, trials or tribulation. But what I am talking about is experiencing new life, and life that is raised to another level. I am talking about living a life that reveals hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

What I found was profound 🧐 in asking the question it revealed the answer. It was just that simple. Chapter 3 verse one holds the answer, it says set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Jesus sits in the place of honor at Gods right hand. I will end todays manna with a simple 💭 thought. If God asks us to come to Him and Hewill raise us up to NEW LIFE, then what’s stopping you?
