Walking in the Spirit.

There is therefore now no condemnation to which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, But after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

We all know the fruits of the Spirit, Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: but just to know about something is completely different than being in possession of it. Today I pursue the gift that my Lord Christ Jesus gave to all who desire it, freedom from the law of sin and death. Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Heavenly Father thank you for the work you did on the cross and allowing us to be free from the bondage of sin and death, search my heart so that I may remove anything that prevents me from walking in righteousness!
