Uncovering hope!

Romans 15: 1-6

We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. 3) For even Christ did not please himself; but as it is written, "the reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me. 4) For what ever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 5) Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I remember years ago when God gave me an acronym for the word HOPE!

I was so excited and I shared it every time I spoke for months. What is it you say? Well I am glad you asked... Happiness On Purpose Everyday. (Hope)

Today Years after that blessing, I am still gleaning for the ripe fields of Gods word. In this passage Paul teaches us not only how to obtain hope but also the purpose of our hope. Beloved hope comes from bearing the weaknesses of others not to please ourselves, but for their good. Scripture states that we are to building them up in the Lord which leads to edification. Hope is a by product of our devotion life and as the word declares, through the scriptures we not only find but are able to put on patients and comfort. This is the good news. Beloved and I pray that you position your life to go from GLORY to GLORY!!!
