The Weight of Worry

1 peter5:7 Casting all your anxiety on Him, because he cares for you!

Lord God I praise you for the work that you did on the cross, and the letters you left to guide us along in our lives as trials and tribulations come. How wonderful is it that God personally cares about those things that worry us and prey upon our thoughts? Not one nagging, aching, worrisome, stomach-tensing, blood-pressure-raising thoughts escape our heavenly Fathers radar. It is our job to stay connected in the word so that we understand the right path to take as trouble comes. That's why I say it is easy to drift away from the most important part of our lives. Devotion is vital to the believer, its like breath to our lungs. With out an active devotion time with the creator of the world, our lives quickly become over whelming and distracted because of our absence in the spiritual realms. So what's the cure, try sending a knee mail and casting your cares to the one who is able to handle that weight of your worry, then stand on the promise of his mercy and grace!
