Carrying the light...

The bible says, Ephesians 5:14-17

Therefore, he says: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”15) See then that you walk Circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16) redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17) Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of Lord is.

Well here we are 10 days into 2019 and must begin by saying it is a miracle that I am able to even sit down and share with you. I count it all joy for the grace that is set before us. I will pray continually for the mercy of GOD to be visible and evident in our lives as we continue to prepare for eternity.

As I ventured into this new year I was in awe of what God is doing in our lives as we yield to his Leading and promises. Tonight as I read awake you who sleep. I asked the Lord, am I awake? Have I truly risen from the dead? Am I walking in the light that Jesu Christ gives us. I know He is the Light of the world. I know that he will withhold nothing from anyone who diligently seek his ways. The bible insures us over and over that if we seek, we will find, and if we knock the door will be opened, and if ask in His name we shall receive. As I thought in meditation I was encouraged as the Lord began to minister to me through his word.

There is nothing I want more in 2019 than to redeem the time. Oh Lord I will carry your light, that will illuminate my surroundings allowing me to walk down the right roads, make the right commitments and go through the right doors.
