Obey!

1 Samuel 15:22

But Samuel replied, "what is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.

Philippians 2:8 He humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross.

Hebrews 5:8 Even though Jesus was God's Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.

2 Corinthians 10:5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God.

We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey!

Joshua 1:8 Study this Book (THE BIBLE) of instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to OBEY everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

Psalms 119:2 Joyful are those who obey His laws and search for him with all their hearts.

Wow what a merciful Father we have, he has given us free will! I look back on all my ways and because of the bible I now see that I was raised and taught from a foundation that was established by a sin nature, rebellious in it's frailty. Oh how refreshing it is to choose obedience it is only there that one can truly begin the regeneration process that Jesus Christ purchased for who would call on that name shall be saved.
